College Ministry

What we're about

The college group at DBC offers an opportunity to be invested into, while also having the ability to invest into others. The ministry is designed specifically for post high school, college-aged individuals. Dixie Baptist’s College Ministry offers an outlet for a variety of members that have different backgrounds, uniting them under the teachings of God. The group revolves around a mindset of accountability, and a craving to question worldview ideas in order to learn more about God, and strengthen preexisting beliefs. To get involved with the meetings and events held by the college group, please see Jacob Milstead, or visit our DBC College Facebook page.

Weekly Activities

The college group attends the church wide worship service lead by our pastor, Ron McClain, and music minister, Dale Thompson.

ETC @ 808: Wednesday Night Bible Study
Eat Talk Chill at 8:08 on Wednesday nights is a college Bible study that meets at the parsonage across the street from Dixie Baptist Church.

Service Opportunities
College students and young adults are welcome to attend Sunday evening worship and Wednesday night Bible study with the larger church body, but there are also opportunities to help in various children’s ministries and activities: Children's choirs, Bible Learning Centers, RA's, GA's, Mission Friends, and the nursery.
