Church family, the new director of Homes of Hope, Scott Hanberry, has reached out to invite our Church to participate in their upcoming Evening of Hope Gala on August 12. I believe Scott is doing and will do a great job in leading this ministry. Our church will be a table sponsor, which means that we have a table reserved for 10 people. Vote on Deacon Election Affirmation & Trustee Nomination Communion Kenya mission trip interest meeting – 12:15 pm

We will NOT have our Wednesday night Bible study tomorrow night in order to interact with families who come to the Awana kick-off. On the following Wednesday night, August 13th, we will plan to pick up our study of the book of Galatians.

We will have our quarterly business meeting on Sunday, August 3, following our morning worship service.

Sonshiners will meet at Dixie Baptist Church Thursday, June 12, at 2:00 pm.

DBC Women’s Ministry will be hosting a Movie and party following the Worship Service. They will be showing the movie The Forge. Please RSVP on the signup sheet in the Fellowship Hall for attendance and snacks.

Encouragers will meet Thursday, May 29, at Dixie Baptist Church at 11:00am. Potluck lunch. Visionaire Quartet will be singing for this meeting.

Join us for our VBS Prayer Walk on Wednesday, May 28. We will take time to walk around the campus praying for the workers, children, classes, and different activities that will be used to bring the Gospel message through VBS.

Office cloed in observance of Memorial Day

A group will be placing flags on the graves of Veterans Thursday, May 22nd , beginning at 8am. There are over 225 Veteran graves in both the Dixie Church Cemetery and Dixie Community Cemetery. Please contact Linda Hudson (601-408-4821) if you need more information.

There will be a baby shower honoring Camille Clark Henry at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 17, at DBC.
