The DBC Women’s Ministry invites all ladies to our annual Super Souper Supper, Saturday, October 18th at 2:00pm in the DBC Fellowship Hall. Sign Up Sheet is in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a crockpot of your favorite soup to share around the table then we package up the rest for Asbury Hospice in Hattiesburg.

Tuesday, October 14, beginning at 9:00 am we will be packing shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse. Everyone is welcome to come and help.

Pine Belt Baptist Association will be having their Annual Celebration Sunday, October 12, at 6:00 at Hardy Street Baptist Church.

Sonshiners will met on Thursday, October 9, at the Dixie Log Cabin at 2:00 PM.

Due to the fall break schedule there will be no Awana, Youth, or Adult Bible Study meeting Wednesday, October 1. College will still meet.

Our Encouragers group will meet on Thursday, September 25, at 11:00 am at DBC.

Our WMU ladies will meet on Tuesday, September 16, at 10:30 am.

Church family, the new director of Homes of Hope, Scott Hanberry, has reached out to invite our Church to participate in their upcoming Evening of Hope Gala on August 12. I believe Scott is doing and will do a great job in leading this ministry. Our church will be a table sponsor, which means that we have a table reserved for 10 people. Vote on Deacon Election Affirmation & Trustee Nomination Communion Kenya mission trip interest meeting – 12:15 pm

We will NOT have our Wednesday night Bible study tomorrow night in order to interact with families who come to the Awana kick-off. On the following Wednesday night, August 13th, we will plan to pick up our study of the book of Galatians.

We will have our quarterly business meeting on Sunday, August 3, following our morning worship service.
